The Transit Coalition offers two ways students can help our efforts.
One way is to make a modest donation to our organization. We are a non-profit public charity
exempt from federal income tax under Section 501[c](3)
of the Internal Revenue Service. Your gift
to maintain the website, print materials, organize campaigns,
and pay office rent are appreciated.Click below to link directly to PayPal.
Another way is to participate as an intern. We continuously seek motivated volunteers yearning for better transportation options and who are willing to make the effort to bring them about. This is by no means a sit-down desk job. Instead, you will have the opportunity to participate in field studies and research transportation needs in your community. Students who take part in our internship program prepare proposals outlining solutions and meet regularly with transportation officials and community leaders to discuss what is possible. You can participate in an internship as an individual or have your school sponsor an internship group. The CSUN Transportation Tiger Team is one example of the latter arrangement.
