Santa Clarita Transit

A Santa Clarita Transit NewFlyer Bus. Santa Clarita Transit provides local bus service within the city of Santa Clarita, as well as commuter express routes linking the city to other regions of the county. The Transit Coalition works to maximize the usefulness of these important routes for the traveling public.

Action Items
Santa Clarita Transit currently is proposing a service restructuring to take place on August 1, 2009. On that date, all existing bus service (Lines 8, 503, 504, 747, 793, and 798) between Santa Clarita and the northern San Fernando Valley will be cancelled. These services will be replaced with a single express bus service between Santa Clarita and North Hollywood, thus bypassing major destinations in the Sylmar, North Hills, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, and other communities.

For more information on these cuts and to help stop them, please visit our Santa Clarita Transit campaign page.
