Amtrak National Train Day

To all hands:

The Transit Coalition will once again participate in National Train Day, which will be held on Saturday, May 8, starting at 11 a.m., at Los Angeles Union Station, 800 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles. The Transit Coalition will have a booth along with the Coast Starlight Communities Network and TRAC (Train Riders Association of California). We need volunteers to help us in assisting visitors to fill out our campaign postcards and to greet those visiting our booth.

Also, there is an opportunity to promote related projects such as bikes, federal transportation authorization (T4A), state transit funding and pedestrian issues. We just need to hear from you to staff the event. Write us.

For those in Northern California or other local that will be hosting NTD, we'd like to have you help by representing TRAC and The Transit Coalition at one of these events. Let us know as soon as possible. If there are local NTD displays in places such as Fullerton or San Diego, we also need volunteers to staff. Write us.
