Bettering the busway
Extension to Bob Hope Airport a worthy idea

It won't be easy, and it's sure to raise the cry of the NIMBYs. But the proposal by a Burbank transportation commissioner to extend the successful Orange Line busway to Bob Hope Airport has great merit.

Critics will argue that there's already shuttle service to the airport around North Hollywood, the terminus of the Orange Line. But a commuter hauling several bags knows multiple bus changes isn't an option.

The public has shown its support for the new busway through high ridership. It make sense to improve on it, and increase options to driving, in any way possible.
